Basic Certification up 38%

Final Certification classes were held in May and hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Education. Of the 25 enrolled, 21 completed basic certification. They include educators who teach from pre-school to university level, an international character education leader from Kenya and the Dean of Students of an inner city Chicago middle school. Their completion brings the total number certified this past school year to 166, up 38% from last year. So far, 518 educators have been certified. Congratulations to all.
