Planned Giving Options
Bequest
Bequests are a popular and simple way to make a planned gift. These one-time or perpetual gifts are charitable contributions left as a bequest in a legal will. They are usually given as a specific amount, a remainder of a donor's estate after other bequests have been paid, or a percentage of a donor's total wealth.
Donor Advised Fund
Managed by both financial institutions and community foundations, donor advised funds allow individuals to place cash, securities, or other assets into a fund in return for an immediate charitable deduction. Donors can recommend gifts to CharacterPlus at times they determine.
