The CharacterPlus District Training Series ensures that partners have access to the region's foremost thought leaders in Character Education and School Climate. CharacterPlus partner districts understand that regular professional development is necessary to generate new ideas, build educator confidence, and create a robust network of support. This ongoing regional commitment to training improves the school experience for teachers, students, and families alike.
Program Details
Intention: To ensure that partners have consistent access to thought leaders and specialized variety in professional development offerings.
Overview: Each partner district has access to four training sessions per year as part of their CharacterPlus partnership. Topics are strategically chosen by the District Leaders' Council to meet the collective and current needs of our regional educators.
Outcome: These one-day workshops equip districts with practical information and tools designed to deepen character education practice immediately. Whether focusing on foundational concepts or the latest innovations in the field, these sessions make it possible to share learning experiences and perspectives across diverse districts
